Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. OffOnSale runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone. It needs an internet connection, and a banner warns you if the connection drops.
Does it work with my barcode scanner and printer?
Most USB and Bluetooth scanners that act like a keyboard work, and you can also scan with a phone camera. Receipts print through the browser on an 80 mm thermal printer.
Can customers pay online on my website?
Not yet. Website orders are cash on delivery or pay at pickup. At the counter you can record cash, card, JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer and customer credit.
Is my data separate from other shops?
Yes. Every shop’s products, sales and customers are kept separate, and you can export your data.
What happens if my subscription ends?
You get a 7-day grace period. After that the store becomes read-only until renewal, and your data is kept.
Does it work in Urdu?
Yes. You can switch the POS, website and menus to Urdu with right-to-left layout. Some messages still appear in English.
